# mtr

> Combined traceroute and ping tool

- Traceroute to a host and continuously ping all intermediary hops

`mtr {{host}}`

- Disable IP address and host name mapping

- Generate output after pinging each hop 10 times

- Force IP IPv4 or IPV6
