+- Add a configuration file to chain:

+- Add a configuration directory to chain:

+- Enter the interactive Erlang shell:
+
+`couchdb -i`
+
+- Redirect output from couchdb.stdout to file:

+
+- Redirect errors from couchdb.stderr to file:
