# git stripspace

- Trim whitespace from a file:

`cat {{path/to/file}} | git stripspace`

- Trim whitespace and Git comments from a file:

`cat {{path/to/file}} | git stripspace --strip-comments`

- Convert all lines in a file into Git comments:

`git stripspace --comment-lines < {{path/to/file}}`
