- Start mosquitto:

`mosquitto`

- Specify a configuration file to use:

`mosquitto --config-file {{path/to/file.conf}}`

- Listen on a specific port:

`mosquitto --port {{8883}}`

- Daemonize by forking into the background:

`mosquitto --daemon`
