# vgcreate

- Create a new volume group called vg1 using the `/dev/sda1` device:

`vgcreate {{vg1}} {{/dev/sda1}}`

- Create a new volume group called vg1 using multiple devices:

`vgcreate {{vg1}} {{/dev/sda1}} {{/dev/sdb1}} {{/dev/sdc1}}`
