# mkisofs

> Create ISO files from folders. Also aliased as `genisoimage`.

- Create an ISO from a folder:

`mkisofs -o {{filename.iso}} {{path/to/source/folder}}`

- Set the disc label when creating an ISO:

`mkisofs -o {{filename.iso}} {{path/to/source/folder}}`
