# grub-mkconfig

> Generate a GRUB configuration file.

- Do a dry run and print the configuration to `stdout`:

`sudo grub-mkconfig`

- Generate the configuration file:

`sudo grub-mkconfig --output={{/boot/grub/grub.cfg}}`

- Print the help page:

`grub-mkconfig --help`
