# assoc

- List all associations between file extensions and file types:

`assoc`

- Display the associated file type for a specific extension:

`assoc {{.txt}}`

- Set the associated file type for a specific extension:

`assoc .{{txt}}={{txtfile}}`

- View the output of `assoc` one screen at a time:

`assoc | {{more}}`
