> Command to set environment variables.

- Set a new environment variable:

`export {{VARIABLE}}={{value}}`

- Echo the value of an environment variable (don't forget the Dollar sign):

`echo {{$VARIABLE}}`

- Append something to the PATH variable:

`export PATH=$PATH:{{/path/to/append}}`
