# clamav

- Update virus definitions:
|
|
|
|
`freshclam`
|
|
|

- Scan a file for viruses:

`clamscan {{path/to/file}}`
|
|
|
|
- Scan directories recursively and print out infected files:
|
|
|
|
`clamscan --recursive --infected {{path/to/directory}}`
|
|
|
|
- Scan directories recursively and move them into quarantine:
|
|
|
|
`clamscan --recursive --move={{directory}}`
|
