# geth

- Connect to the main Ethereum network and automatically download the full node:
|
|
|
|
`geth`
|
|
|
|
- Connect to the Ropsten test network:
|
|
|
|
`geth --testnet`
|

- Create a new account:
|

|
|
`geth account new`
|
|
|
|
- Enable mining:
|
|
|
|
`geth --mine`
|
