# pipx

- Run an app in a temporary virtual environment:

|
|
|
`pipx run {{pycowsay}} {{moo}}`
|
|

- Install a package in a virtual environment and add entry points to path:

- List installed packages:
|

`pipx list`

- Run an app in a temporary virtual environment with a package name different from the executable:
