pvcreate
Initialize a disk or partition for use as a physical volume. See also:

- Initialize the
/dev/sda1volume for use by LVM:
pvcreate {{/dev/sda1}}
- Force the creation without any confirmation prompts:
pvcreate --force {{/dev/sda1}}
