# logstash

- Check validity of a Logstash configuration:
|
|
|
|
`logstash --configtest --config {{logstash_config.conf}}`
|
|
|
|
- Run Logstash using configuration:
|
|
|
|
`sudo logstash --config {{logstash_config.conf}}`
|
|
|
|
- Run Logstash with the most basic inline configuration string:
|
|
|
|
`sudo logstash -e 'input {} filter {} output {}'`
|
