# ifconfig

- View network settings of an ethernet adapter:
|
|
|
|
`ifconfig eth0`
|
|
|
|
- Display details of all interfaces, including disabled interfaces:
|
|
|
|
`ifconfig -a`
|
|
|
|
- Disable eth0 interface:
|
|
|
|
`ifconfig eth0 down`
|
|
|

- Enable eth0 interface:
