- Open a specific file:

- Open a file positioning the cursor at the specified line and column:

- Enable smooth scrolling:
|
|
|
|
`nano -S {{filename}}`
|
|
|
|
- Indent new lines to the previous lines' indentation:
|
|
|

`nano -i {{filename}}`
|

- Before modification, backup separately as `{{current_file_name}}~`:
