# chroot

> Run command or interactive shell with special root directory.

|

- Run command as new root directory:
|
|
|
|
`chroot {{path/to/new/root}} {{command}}`
|
|
|
|
- Specify user and group (ID or name) to use:
|
|
|
|
`chroot --userspec={{user:group}}`
