# docker inspect

- Display help:

`docker inspect`
|
|
|
|
- Display information about a container, image, or volume using a name or ID:

|

|
- Display a container's IP address:

`docker inspect --format '\{\{range.NetworkSettings.Networks\}\}\{\{.IPAddress\}\}\{\{end\}\}' {{container}}`

- Display the path to the container's log file:
