# brew upgrade

|
|
> Upgrade outdated formulae and casks.

|
|
|
- Upgrade all outdated casks and formulae:
|
|
|
|
`brew upgrade`
|
|
|
|
- Upgrade a specific formula/cask:
|
|
|
|
`brew upgrade {{formula|cask}}`
|
|
|
|
- Print what would be upgraded, but don't actually upgrade anything:
|
|
|
|
`brew upgrade --dry-run`
|
