# mkfs.ntfs

- Create a NTFS filesystem inside partition 1 on device b (`sdb1`):
|

|
|
`mkfs.ntfs {{/dev/sdb1}}`
|

- Create filesystem with a volume-label:

`mkfs.ntfs -L {{volume_label}} {{/dev/sdb1}}`
|
|
|
|
- Create filesystem with specific UUID:
